General

The Update waitlist mass operation allows to edit existing parameters or to specify new parameters for the waitlist management.

The operation is processed on the segment level.

The operation settings are performed on the following window:

Update Waitlist Operatio-1.png

There are the following modes of the operation settings:

  • cabin (the parameters are presented on the figure above)
  • RBD.
Important.png For the changing of the setting mode from the cabin to RBD, it is required to specify all RBD and their limitations. When the operation is processed and even a single RBD is missed, then the operation will be cancelled.

To select segments for the mass operation, click on the line with the segment name. The line will be marked with “✔”.

To select/deselect all segments, set/clear the Select/Deselect flag.

In the Cabins field, specify cabins for the mass operation.

Tip.png If the Disable restrictions parameter is set, then all earlier settings of the MWL, %WL, CWL and CMWL parameters will be nulled – thus, waitlist segment booking will be processed without limitations.

After all needed parameters are specified, to apply the operation and proceed to the report on mass operation, click Preview.

Cabin Mode

There are the following parameters for the cabin mode (it is set by default):

  • Required:
    • waitlist length MWL / %WL – the maximum allowed seat amount on segment waitlist in the cabin
    • waitlist confirmation (CMWL), values – “Automatic” (default), “Manual”.
  • Additional – the restrictions by RBD in the cabin (the lines are added by clicking “+”):
    • RBD – booking class
    • No waitlist, CWL. It is not set by default. By clicking on the field (“✔”), waitlist creation for the RBD will not be allowed.

The waitlist length can be set as absolute value (MWL) or as the percentage of the Cabin SegCap – the cabin space on the segement (%WL).

If the MWL is used, then the waitlist length is limited by the selected value. If the %WL is used, then the waitlist length is in in direct ratio to the Cabin SegCap. When the waitlist is full, passengers can not be added to it.

RBD Mode

To use the RBD mode of the mass operation, set the RBDs flag. The corresponding parameters will be presented (the lines are added by clicking “+”):
