It is possible to initiate the application of the terms of the codeshare agreement to existing flights by synchronization of flights with the created agreements.

Synchronization is performed automatically in the following cases:

  • Creation of a new flight if the schedule period coincides with the period in the Codeshare agreement record.
  • Schedule editing (change of the aircraft type, booking class, period, route).
  • Modification of the Codeshare agreement entry.

Manual synchronization is possible as follows:

  1. for a group of flights or a period: by a mass operation Codeshare flights synchronization - for flights of both marketing and operating partners 1);
  2. for a flight by date: on the inventory screen (item Actions → Synchronize CSHR-flights) - only the flight of a marketing partner in the Block space or Cap Free sale types of agreement.

Synchronization can be performed with the option of saving manual changes (Save manual changes) or without saving it. Manual changes include the following:

If saving manual changes box is checked, the values of the parameters that were changed manually will remain the same when synchronizing the flight, even if other values are specified for these parameters in the Codeshare flights table. If synchronization is performed without saving manual changes, the parameter values will be replaced according to the settings in the Codeshare flights table.

In case of automatic synchronization, manual changes are always saved.

Synchronization on the inventory screen is always done without saving manual changes. The settings of the mass operation allow to choose whether to save manual changes or not.

Synchronization is not performed in respect of flights with the started automatic adjustment of the block. For flights on which adjustment has been started, only the addition/removal of cabins in the “Block” field of the “Block Adjustment Terms” parameter is made and a message is sent to queue number 30 with the FltNoSynchCSF action, the block capacity adjustment or adjustment terms are adjusted manually.

For flights where the adjustment terms performance started: When adding a cabin (for example, due to an aircraft configuration change), the value of the Csh parameter becomes equal to the block capacity size from the Codeshare Flights entry, other actions are not performed for the block.
