Important.png This setting is made by the marketing carrier if special services are planned on the flight. Typically, this can be used for agreements according to FreeSale and CapFree Sale methods, although it can also be performed for agreements using the BlockSpace method. From the part of the operating carrier, the order of confirmation of special services on the flight is determined in the settings section of this carrier Business rules → Settings → Service settings (for more details, see Carrier settings management).

There are two options for confirming special services on a flight performed per the agreement, if a special service is requested from a marketing carrier:

  • the marketing carrier confirms a special service independently without confirmation by the flight operator, and then sends an information telegram to the operator stating that the special service has been confirmed
  • the marketing carrier puts the special service in the status “Requested”, sends a telegram to the operator and waits for the confirmation of the special service on its part, after which it has the right to confirm the provision of the service on the flight.

From the part of the marketing carrier, the procedure is made in two stages:

  1. creation of interaction settings in the scope of special services with a specific operating carrier
  2. link this interaction setting to a flight under the agreement in the Codeshare Flights table when configuring the flight parameters.

Table SSR Mkt determines which service requests the marketing carrier has the right to confirm independently.

The table is filled in on behalf of the marketing carrier on the basis of the terms of the agreement with the operating carrier. The entry in the table is valid only if the table of codeshare flights refers to it upon creation of an agreement. If there is no record, or it is not involved in the formation of the codeshare flight, all service requests are translated to the operating carrier and can be confirmed only by it.

The table is adjusted in the Agreements → Codeshare → SSR Mkt section. The first window is the search for existing records.

Specify the values in the fields:

  • Owner — the owner of the record
  • Name — the name of the setting
  • Operating — operating carrier
  • Marketing — marketing carrier
  • Is active — a sign of enabling the setting.

On the right side of the screen, click the plus button Plus.png and fill in the fields:

  • SSR is the service code that the specified marketing carrier will be able to confirm on its part without the participation of the said operating partner
  • Send HK to operator — the parameter for sending the service to the flight operator: if the mark is set, the special service will be confirmed, and an alerting telegram about it will be sent to the flight operator. If the mark is not set, then to confirm the provision of special services by the marketing carrier one will need to wait for confirmation from the flight operator.

Please note:

  1. the table will indicate only SSR codes that are determined in the carrier's settings as Confirmation needed / value Yes and specified in the RFISC Codes reference guide carrier's settings
  2. the table will indicate only SSR+RFISC pair codes that are specified in the table Setting of Additional Services
  3. system SSR codes that do not need any confirmation will be translated to both carriers.

To apply the created settings to the flight, one must specify the name of the setting when forming the flight.
