Information about the Codeshare agreement is sent to external systems by SSM messages or SSIM files.

The DEI 1 parameter is specified in SSM messages sent by an operating carrier. The operating carrier informs about availability of the Codeshare agreement on its flight and specifies a flight number of the marketing partner in this parameter. The parameter relates to the information about a segment, where the segment coincides with the leg. The example (for airline XX): 10/XX or 10/XX758.

The SSM messages, sent by a marketing carrier, contain the following parameters:

  • DEI 2 contains information about a code of the operating carrier and a flight number informing that the Codeshare agreement acts for this flight and it is actually performed by the carrier specified in the parameter. The example: 2/XX. The parameter is always applied in combination with DEI 50. A value of the DEI 2 parameter in SSM messages may be specified in one of the following rows:
  • In the row with designation of a flight
  • In the row with information about an aircraft
  • In the row with information about a part of a route.
  • DEI 50 contains a flight number of the operating carrier and it is always applied in combination with DEI 2. The parameter relates to the information about a segment, where the segment coincides with the leg. The example: 50/XX1836.
