Dictionaries
There are two types of reference guides in the System:
- System dictionaries are provided with the System basic settings and are further managed by the System provider. It is available for the System users only for review.
- Carrier dictionaries are managed by the carrier, the System users have the right to edit it in accordance with the role model.
In the regular mode, every time when the application is launched the data actuality of the system reference guides' data is controlled and the information is updated in accordance with the data on the server each time the application is launched. If the data on the server were changed during the work with the application, the user receives an appropriate notification on the screen with the recommendation to synchronize the system reference guides. For this purpose, it is possible to force the system reference guides to be updated.
Carrier reference data contains of the following dictionaries:
- Physical Configurations
- Sale Configurations
- Flight Groups
- Markets Dictionary
- POS Groups
- Branded fare codes
- RFISC Codes1)
- SSR Codes
The data of each carrier's reference guide correspond to the settings of only one airline. Thus, if in accordance with commercial agreements the user manages the reference guides of several carriers, then these reference guides will be separate for each of the airlines, data from them can not overlap.
