SSR & RFISC Quota

From Wiki Amber.aero
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Maximum quota of special services (further SSR) in a cabin on a leg of a flight is defined by this rule.

Warning.png For setting SSR quota, the record about this SSR must be presented in the list of the provided services on a carrier level (section Business rules→ Settings → SSR & RFISC settings). Conditions of the business rules in the part of providing SSRs are more priority than the service setting for the same parameter.

There are three modes of SSR confirmation:

  • Auto confirm: when receiving request, a SSR is confirmed automatically without restrictions in this mode.
  • Quote request: when receiving request, a SSR is confirmed automatically within the specified quota in this mode. Requests over the specified quota are required manual confirmation. If, according to the business rule, the quota of the SSR equals zero or is not specified, then the SSR is provided on request.
  • Quota cancel: when receiving request, a SSR is confirmed automatically within the * specified quota in this mode. On requests over the specified quota, automatic refusal is carried out. If, according to the business rule, the quota of the SSR equals zero or is not specified, then automatic refusal is carried out.
Important.png For SSR STCR only Quota request and Quota cancel options are available. On trying to set auto confirmation for this SSR, an error message will be presented: SSR STCR cannot have automatic confirmation.

In main menu select Business rules → Business rules → Inventory. As a result, a business rule selection form will appear. Select SSR & RFISC Quota rule. To view already created business rules of this type, enter the search parameters and click OK. Search results will be presented as a list of business rules.

To create a new business rule, press the Create button. As a result, a business rule creation form will appear.

The following criteria of the rule are mandatory:

  • Carrier code
  • Starting and ending dates of rule validity.
Tip.png It is allowed to set the period that begins from yesterday. For the period editing, the System sets yesterday as the period beginning by default.

The following criteria of the rule are optional:

  • Origin and destination points
  • Flight or group of flights
  • Frequency
  • Aircraft type.
Tip.png To add a new business rule press the button Add rule. As a result, another business rule creation form will appear.

Content of the rule:

Parameter Description Status Value
Capacity levels Aircraft capacity (sum of assigned seats by cabins).

If the parameter is not assigned, the rule is applied to the flight in general

Optional Checkbox and numerical value from 0 to 999
SSR Corresponding SSR code or OSI element Mandatory Selection from the list
RFISC RFISC code Mandatory Selection from the list
Cabin Cabin code Optional Cabin code. It is specified obviously, selection from the list is allowed
Quota Quota level Mandatory Value from 0 to 999
Group Indication which demonstrates belonging of the corresponding SSR code to the group Optional Letter / Figure.

The group quota value is considered the maximum quota of the service that is part of the group. A service quota may be less than a group quota, which in turn restricts the maximum number of requests for a specific service, which can be confirmed within the group quota

Mode SSR confirmation mode Mandatory Select from the list:
  • Auto confirmation - a special service is confirmed automatically with no restrictions;
  • Request - a special service is confirmed automatically within the established quota. Requests exceeding the selected quota require manual confirmation. If, under the terms of a business rule, the service quota is zero or not specified, then the service shall be provided upon request;
  • Cancel - a special service is confirmed automatically within the established quota. Upon requests exceeding the selected quota, an automatic rejection is made. If, under the terms of a business rule, the service quota is zero or not specified, then the automatic rejection is performed
Chargeable Chargeable service sign Optional Check in the field
Departure time Setting the processing requests modes for confirmation of a service regarding the flight departure time.

Parameters are set as a range within which a service request is to be processed. When adding a service, the values are filled out in accordance with the ones specified in the carrier settings. At the same time, the business rule parameters have higher priority than the carrier’s settings if the values do not match. In the specified range, the service is processed in accordance with the specified provision mode and quotas. Service requests received outside the specified range are rejected

Optional It is specified in absolute and relative values using the Absolute parameter:
  • relative time (not checked) - the number of days, hours and minutes before the scheduled flight departure time;
  • absolute time (the parameter is checked) - the number of days before the scheduled flight departure time, the hour and the minute of that day.

The Capacity levels parameter provides possibility of assigning of several quotas for the concrete SSR. It is possible to specify the following variants of the parameter assignment:

  • Capacity is more than the assigned threshold
  • Capacity is less than the assigned threshold.

The Cabin parameter is applied to each line of the record about a SSR. If a value of the parameter is not specified, then the quota of the SSR is applied to the flight in general. Requests on a quota for any cabin will be confirmed within the specified quota.

Different types of SSRs may be grouped. The group quota is the maximum number of requests which is guaranteed to be confirmed. The maximum quota of the SSR which is a part of the group is accepted by a value of the group quota. The quota of the SSR may be less than the group quota that in turn limits the maximum number of requests for the concrete SSR. This number may be confirmed within the group quota.

Chargeable parameter refers to chargeable services.

Flight departure time request processing method can be configured in the left part of the screen. Parameters are set in relative values as a time range within which a service request should be proceeded.

On adding a service, its parameter values are to be specified in accordance with ones defined in the carrier settings section. If values for a parameter differ in these sections, then values set in the business rule are prior to the ones set in the Carrier settings section.

Parameters may be set in absolute or relative value using the Absolute checkbox:

  • relative (no mark in the box) — amount of days, hours, and minutes before flight departure time
  • absolute time (box is marked) — amount of days before flight departure time, and time of that day (hour and minute).

Within the specified range a service request is proceeded in accordance with the specified confirmation mode and quotas.

Requests received in other time are rejected.

An example of filled in form is presented below.

Fill in the form and click Preview. Check all the parameters and changes which are going to be applied to flight configurations in case this rule is saved and applied. If everything is correct, click Save to proceed.

Note, that Inventory business rules will not be automatically applied to already configured flights. You can apply the Inventory group's business rule to operational flights using a mass operation or by selecting Actions → Apply BR on the inventory screen. Conditions of business rules that match the criteria, created in the system (flight number, route, period, etc.), will be applied to the flight.
