Carrier settings present particular case of business rules when a value of a parameter or a definition of an action is assigned at the level of a carrier in general (without dividing into flights, markets and so on) and without limitation of validity period.

Carrier settings are managed by an administrator of a carrier.

Carrier settings include the following parameters:

  • General settings,
  • Ancillaries settings,
  • PNL/ADL settings,
  • Service list configuration,
  • APIS configuration,
  • PAL configuration,
  • booking access configuration,
  • minimum connection time (MCT) configuration.

Carrier settings have a lower priority than settings of business rules. Thus when the active business rules with specified parameter values are available for a flight, carrier settings for the corresponding flight parameters are not active.

The business rules by which carrier settings are managed are presented in the table below.
