Definition of terminal payment currency

Terminal currency is set in the "Currency" column of the "Agent terminals" table in the "Administration" module when describing this terminal (it is mandatory to fill in this column). It is possible to enter currency manually and by using the F1 key (the reference book).

A code of a payment currency depends on the national currency of the state in which the terminal is located. The terminal may work only with one payment currency.

Displaying a fare in the "Cash desk" module

If, when describing a agent terminal, local currency is set as a payment currency and a fare of an airline is set in EUR, then: when paying baggage in the "Cash desk" module, the fare is displayed in EUR and the payment is displayed both in the terminal currency and in the fare currency.

Terminal currency. The agent may change the terminal currency (if this operation is available). The payment currency selection is carried out by using the F1 key.

For the terminal currency (set by default) to be returned, it is necessary to re-log in.

"Exchange rates of airlines" table

The given table presents a list of exchange rates used in the system and also their validity periods.

Description of the table:

  • АC code: a code of an airline to which exchange rate is applied (it is not mandatory to be filled in). If the code is not specified, then exchange rate is applied relative to settings in the row.
  • Currency 1: a value of currency 1 (it is mandatory to be filled in manually)
  • Code: a currency code (it is mandatory to be filled in manually or using the F1 key)
  • Currency 2: a value of currency 2 (it is mandatory to be filled in manually)
  • Code: a currency code (it is mandatory to be filled in manually or using the F1 key)
  • From: a starting date of exchange rate validity
  • To: a ending date of exchange rate validity
  • Additionally: additional information

Users having access to enter fares of an airline also have access to the "Exchange rates" table.

Exchange rate priority:

Selection of exchange rate for application is defined by the maximum number of coincidences in a row with exchange rate and flight data.

If there is no exchange rate for an airline in the "Airline exchange rates" table, then the system the system addresses to the "Basic exchange rates" table.
