Search Conditions
Conditions under which searching alternate flights should not be carried out due to modification of a segment are defined by this rule.
The rule is applied on a segment.
It is possible to specify the following reasons of changing a schedule as conditions for the application of the rule criteria:
- Time change: change of departure/arrival time on a segment
- RBD change: change of a list of booking classes on a segment
- FLight change: change of flight number
- Route change: change of a route on a segment
- Cancellation: cancellation of a flight or a part of a flight route.
Selection of one or several reasons of changing a schedule is acceptable.
Conditions of the rule implementation are defined on the basis of the following data:
- If there is one reason of changing a schedule of a modified segment, then checking the rule conditions is carried out on the basis of whether the corresponding indication is set or not. If the indication is set, then searching alternate flights is not carried out and the passengers remain on the same modified segment. If the indication is not set, then searching alternate flights is carried out.
- If there are several reasons of changing a schedule of a modified segment, then checking the rule conditions is carried out on the basis of whether the corresponding indications are set or not. If the indications are set, then searching is not carried out and the passengers remain on the same modified segment. If at least one of the indications is not set, then searching alternate flights is carried out.
- If the “Cancellation” indication is set as a reason of changing a schedule of a modified segment, then checking the rule conditions is carried out on the basis of whether “Cancellation” indication is set or not. If the indication is set, then PNRs should be cancelled. If the indication is not set, then searching alternate flights for re-accommodation is carried out.
