Business Rules for Re-accommodation Management/Traffic Restrictions
Criteria of searching alternate flights in accordance with specified traffic restrictions on modified and alternate flights are defined by this rule.
If the business rule is assigned, then the search of alternate flights for a modified flight with restrictions specified in the rule will be carried out only among flights with the restrictions specified for the alternate flight in the given business rule.
The rule works by the principle of strict compliance that is, only flights with specified codes will be considered as alternate or modified flights.
Other flights will be ignored.
It is also acceptable to specify “No restrictions” value (the N/A value) as a parameter. In this case, alternate or modified flights without traffic restrictions will also be considered.
The rule is applied on a segment.
The example of the rule:
- Restriction codes - code 1 and code 2 are specified for a modified flight
- Restriction codes - N/A, code 1 and code 2 are specified for an alternate flight.
In this case, the following flights may be considered as alternate ones for modified flights with “1; 2; 1+2” codes:
- Flights without restrictions
- Flights with the restriction - code 1
- Flights with the restriction - code 2
- Flights with restrictions - codes 1, 2.
The following criteria of the rule are mandatory:
- Carrier code
- Starting and ending dates of rule validity period.

It is allowed to set the period that begins from yesterday. For the period editing, the System sets yesterday as the period beginning by default. |
The following criteria of the rule are optional:
- Origin and destination points
- Partner
- Flight or group of flights.
The content of the rule is presented in Table.
