Meal types provided on a flight are defined by this business rule.

The rule is assigned on a route leg.

Value on a long route segment is calculated as the sum of codes specified on the corresponding route legs. When publishing meal service information into distribution and inventory systems, it is transmitted on route legs.

If the rule is not assigned, then the N - “No Meal Service” code is assigned and published by default.

To assign the rule the following conditions are presented:

  1. The rule may be formed only for one assignment level: a booking class or a cabin.
  2. It is acceptable to assign not more than two meal service codes for one booking class.

In main menu, select Business rules → Business rules → Schedule. As a result, a business rule selection form will appear. Select Meal Services rule in the list.
