Revenue.Integrity (further — the System, RI) is an analytics system, aimed at finding bookings which will not or may not be actually flown (further — “false” booking). Such bookings freeze seats on a flight, so it harms carrier's finances.
Using the System, a carrier may set an action which will be applied to “false” bookings: cancellation or sending to a queue a message to be processed manually by an operator who decides how to act with a PNR.
This way, “false” bookings may be cancelled on time and seats may be returned to sale.
Access to Revenue.Integrity is provided via Amber.Inventory interface on concluding supplementary agreement.
Actions with PNR are held out in Amber.Inventory system and then data is being sent to GDS and DCS via messages.
To apply RI function, special rules are configured. A rule contains criteria and search range for searching “false” bookings. Analytic functions are applied to PNRs which are found within this specified range.
Settings equal for all carrier's time-limit rules are as follows:
- 1. Processing the limit delay (5 minutes and more) — time for an agent to finish booking before unfinished booking is analyzed by time-;imit rules.
- 2. Time-limit time zone:
- a. UTC
- b. Any city time zone
- c. Booking agent's time zone
- 3. Action to be applied to PNR (“false” booking) as time-limit is over:
- a. Cancel
- b. Add to a queue
- c. Cancel and add to a queue.
A range of PNRs, among which “false” booking, is set by the following parameters:
- 1. time-limit for flight segments:
- a. PNR type
- b. segment data
- c. booking office data
- 2. time-limit for special services:
- a. PNR type
- b. Service parameters
- c. Flight segment data
- d. Passenger's data
- e. Booking agency's data.
Time-limit settings are as follows:
- 1. Period when PNR was booked
- 2. Time-limit — how much time there is to finish booking after route pricing was inquired
- 3. Counting method:
- a. after route pricing was inquired
- b. before departure.
The functions of Revenue.Integrity are as follows:
- 1. time-limit1) for flight segments:
- a. PNR analysis: segments without tickets
- b. rules to calculate time-limit
- c. setting a time-limit for PNR
- d. cancellation of segments without tickets
- e. sending telegrams to a queue
- 2. time-limit2) for special services:
- a. PNR analysis: ancillaries without EMD
- b. rules to calculate time-limit for ancillaries
- c. time-limit for all ancillaries in PNR
- d. cancellation of ancillaries without timely issued EMD
- e. sending telegrams to a queue
- 3. searching for duplicate PNR
- 4. black and white lists
- 5. fictious names
- 6. duplicate segments
- 7. NOSHOW postprocessing
- 8. Churning
- 9. Implicit Groups
- 10. Time-limit for Group Names
- 11. Mandatory PNR Elements
1) , 2) Time-limit – time for an agent to issue a ticket or EMD.
