Several individual bookings with same route made by an agent within a short period of time are called implicit group booking.
The function is intended for finding implicit group bookings made by agents who are not allowed to make group bookings.
Several PNRs are considered as implicit group if:
- booking time falls within the set interval until the last change of the analyzed order;
- information about the booking agency matches;
- segment information and other parameters specified in the settings matches (RBD, cabin - optional);
- the number of unique passengers in all analyzed orders exceeds the number specified in the settings 1).
Upon finding implicit group booking, a message is sent to the 307 queue (RI_ImplicitGrp
event).
The settings are made in the Integrity → Groups→ Implicit groups section.
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Time span | The time interval until the last change of the original booking, during which implicit group bookings are searched. Format: HH:MM. Example: value 01:00 means that search will be made within one hour until the last change of the original booking |
Check booking class | If the option is enabled, then when comparing segments, matching by RBD will be taken into account |
Check cabin | If the option is enabled, then when comparing segments, matching by cabin will be taken into account |
Number of passengers that is considered to be a group | The least number of unique passengers in all found bookings, which will be considered as a group |
Agent exception list | List of agents for which the rule does not apply. To enter a value in the field, double-click on the empty line. An input form will be presented with separate fields for each agent: GDS, Agency, Location, Country, POS ID, Terminal |
Agent match rules | Combinations of criteria, upon the match of which the booking will be considered as made by one agent. When analyzing bookings, the system refers to POS, and if the specified data coincides, orders will be considered to be created by the same agent. Available comparison criteria:
