Check-in Preparation Module

The Check-in Preparation Module is intended for check-in preparation operations.

The Module consists of three screens:

  • Check-in preparation:
    • the flight loading data
    • check-in settings
    • assigning forms of baggage tags and boarding passes
    • assigning baggage rules, etc.
  • Passenger List (PNL): total list of passengers based on all received PNL and ADL (described in the General Provisions).
  • Cabin Layout:
    • layout selection
    • view of seat; work with this screen is described in detail in the Weight and Balance Module.
  • The agent fulfills the following operations:
    • control over the initial and transit passengers loading by destinations and classes, by reservations systems and the total for the flight
    • control over the free seat number by destinations and classes, by reservations systems and the total for the flight
    • view of list passengers with reservations (PNL) (described in the General Provisions)
    • preliminary assignment of seats (described in the General Provisions)
    • change and input of free baggage allowance (Sec. 2.7.2)
    • change or input of the excess baggage charges and fees (Sec. 2.7.3)
    • selection or change of boarding pass form (Sec. 2.8.2)
    • input or cancellation of check-in mode combined with boarding
    • input or cancellation of security screening mode combined with boarding
    • view of cabin layout (Sec. 2.3)
    • marking seats with particularities on the seat map (Sec. 2.3).
